The tendon boots have a hard polyurethane outer shell and a neoprene lining. The neoprene lining is soft for the sensitive horse leg. The protector closes with hook and loop and has an extra flap that prevents the fasteners from letting off.
The BR Event tendon boot has a comfortable fit and closes well around the fetlock. Make sure you buy the boots in the right size and put them on properly. If they are too small or if you fasten them too tight, there will be too much pressure on the tendon. If the tendon boots are too long, they will hinder your horse's movement.
